To me wilderness is plants, trees, animals, grass, mountains, water, and also life. It is also very peaceful and relaxing, a feel of freedom.

Dulce in Rocks

I came here to discover things that I never imagined would even exsist for instance plants, rocks and animals.

I think the voice of this place is giving me wisdom and every time I am by a river it speaks to me and says to not give up and to just keep going with the flow of life, this whole place gives me peace and it helps me reflect on life. I am so thankful to God for creating such beautiful, peaceful places. Ever since I was a child I’ve loved to be out here in the forest were everything is just so different from the city were you can just think about everything at once without stressing. I do miss my house, family and friends but I’m not going to lie, if I had a chance to do this more often I definitely would!

Dulce Xochi Break

I honestly had no obstacles. I really enjoyed hiking on my own. It was very peaceful and relaxing. It also gave me a lot of time to think about my life and about how amazing this trip has been so far. My favorite part so far was hiking by myself! Obstacles are good because then people overcome them and also because some people learn from those obstacles and overcome fears. I personally have had obstacles throughout life that have helped me to become a better person.
