To me wilderness is a place to chill, relax, and get away from city life. Wilderness is a place that has stunning beauty. All week I have been in the wilderness, and what an experience it was. Yesterday we ascended Cloud’s Rest. The hike to the summit was incredibly hard, but we got to the top. There were times when I said I could not do it, but I did. And it was all worth it. The view was spectacular. The wind whistled all about us. And it was bigger than Half Dome. What an amazing moment!I’ll be sad when the time comes to leave Yosemite. I have made friends who’ve helped me out tremendously, and I would like to thank them for all that they have done. It was an incredible week, in which we shared struggles, shared laughs and good times! But like all good things, this too must come to an end. I’m sad, but hopefully I’ll be back to this wonderful place with wonderful people.

What an experience!
We have stood two miles above sea level,
What a sight!
We’ve been colder than we have ever been,
Something to remember always!
So let’s cherish the moment,
And think about tomorrow when it comes.
