Susie

To me wilderness is a motivation to keep things beautiful and great just how they are. It has helped me to realize how much beauty we have around us, and little by little we destroy it. This experience has opened my eyes to a lot of things, also doors (opportunities) to make a difference trying to make the world a better place. I would motivate others to do the same. I never thought I could do half of the things I did here. I’ve pushed myself so much it makes me super proud of myself and makes me feel like I can take on pretty much anything and I thank Cynthia and Katie for supporting us to keep on going. This is something I would love to do again. Now I can say I am a hiker, one with the wilderness, and no on can take that away from me. This has taught me to be strong for one another, be patient, and to always have a good attitude when things are down. Those are qualities that I want to take home with me. I never knew one week out here can make a difference.
