To me, wilderness is…the perfect cure to any problem. The way to discover your inner strength and purpose in life. I found determination, love, compassion, beauty and happiness fill my lungs by each step that I took. The silence at night, where the stars filled the candy blue sky and the insects sing along with the water and the wind, carrying the voice all the way to Turlock, made me experience and appreciate the wild. Peace within my heart was just waiting to come out. The wild seems to make you think a lot…I love it out here. I wish to no longer go back because the sad thing is I will miss waking up to the cold breeze and the alarm of the animals and sleeping to the trees dancing with the wind.
