Wilderness is... Where wildlife is not endangered by people. There are no roads, cars, no buildings, its just plant and animal life that have not interacted with humans. There are people who visit the wilderness but they don't' inhabit it. It's solitude, you are alone in the wild with no modern world resources.

This week has been a great week. I wasn't expecting it to be this much fun. This week has helped me a lot I feel like I have grown physically, mentally and emotionally over this past few days. It has made me a better team player, how to work together to accomplish something, and also how to communicate better to work together whether is t was crossing a toxic river with magic shoes or making two circles. It has helped physically by challenging myself to carry a huge backpack but that was mentally too because I knew that I could do it, it was just a matter pushing it to the limit and believing in myself and all the wonderful people around. This trip has also been an emotional one. It has helped me become a better person because I not only cared for myself but also I cared for everyone around me. It has also helped me grow because even though our plans kept changing constantly and things kept happening that we weren't expecting we kept on rolling with the punches but I was glad that we weren't able to go to hite cove because I don't think it was a coincidence. I think that we were meant to help out Dave and I was really glad that Mandy and Cathy were with us to help him; that was really awesome. I came here expecting to learn about Wilderness and to go hiking a lot but like the quote said I got a whole lot more out if it. I learned how to become a better person and I just really want to thank you all for this wonderful experience!
