Wilderness is... A place that isn't industrialized with building and pollution. It doesn't have a lot of manufactured noise, just animal and wind noises. It is a place where you can go to find solitude, silence, peace, and so you can collect your thoughts. It is a place where you can be at one with yourself and let yourself see who you really are. Wilderness is a beautiful place filled with beautiful things that we can enjoy. It is a place where you can forget all your problems and just enjoy yourself.

A life lesson that I learned this week that I will carry with me is that friends are strangers that you haven't met yet. You can get to know people really well in a very short time. When people work together they can accomplish a lot. You can learn a lot about someone when you spend time and work together with them. People really open up and show their true selves if you just include them and make them feel comfortable. When put in different settings than you're used to, you come out of your comfort level and try new things, you push your limits and find out you can actually do more that you thought you could. You find out that if you just try you can do almost anything, and probably have fund doing it. Also, sometime s ties or friendships made in such a short time can be very strong.
