Wilderness is:
A place of solitude. It's somewhere where it has been untouched by the human hands. A beautiful place to relax and just enjoy yourself. The Wilderness is scenic. It has been protected by the government to preserve its natural state. A place that preserves the animal and plant life and aquatic life that live within it. It's a place where there is no time and no worries. It's a place to get away from the chaotic ways of the industrialized city.

This week I have learned to be very patient. I've always had some but this week has tested it and I found out that I had a lot more than what I had thought that I had. Also, through the many delays that we had encountered I learned to have perseverance. I enjoyed this entire week. Being on the backpacking trip, I learned to have faith in myself and in other people. It was hard, but I did it and I was happy that Juana did it and was okay. On this trip I have been looking out for other people more than myself. I think that I learned more on the little trips that we had made rather than on the big ones. I'm really glad that I got to experience it with everyone. I think that the setbacks had tested everyone's faith, but we all got back up and were excited about starting again.
