Challenge, to me, is something tough. Something you have to fight for or something that is not so easy for me. The value of challenge is getting that victory at the end because you didn’t give up and y ou struggled for it. It is also trying something new, because if you wouldn’t have taken that challenge, you wouldn’t have ever known what it was like.
Today our challenge was hiking up “Le Conte”. I think it was a challenge for all of us because we’ve never done something like it before. I’m glad I took that challenge because now I’m sitting at the top proud of what I have climbed.
To me, wilderness is something beautiful that I enjoy. It’s something that shouldn’t be impacted much by humans. Something that should be taken care of and maintained. Wilderness to me is somewhere natural, somewhere away from town. I also think of it as a peaceful place.
