I want to get a better idea of who I am and what I'm capable of. I also want to have fun and meet other people, while going outside my comfort zone.
I feel like in order to do this I need to contribute myself as a while and try to make the whole experience as positive as possible. I want to get the most out of this trip, and I feel I can do this by being positive, staying calm, and having fun.
Wilderness to me is simply anywhere outside surrounded by nature. It means a lot to me. It's where I go to think and be away from everyone, and just be me without fear of being judged. It is always such a pleasure to be outside and I love to share the experience with my friends and family. my role in nature is one of a protector but also that of a teacher. I feel strongly that protecting the wilderness is something that will ultimately help everyone. I also feel strongly that people should learn the history of the land in order for a deeper connection with the world around them.
Every time I come here I build a deeper and deeper connection with nature. Compared to the last trip, I feel like my desire to keep places like this safe and alive for future generations has been renewed. My relationship has grown so much in such a short trip I feel like everyone should experience a relationship like this. Once I get home I will continue to build a deeper connection by encouraging others to have experiences like mine.
