The beautiful lakes, the blank skies, the fresh air – that is the description of a wonderful place that many call “Yosemite National Park.” The experience of being here is great. Everything about this place puts me in awe. You wouldn’t think something this great and so big would make a person come back several more times and the care of this place is amazing so many people would respect the laws of the park. And as they say, the Yosemite park is not my park; it’s our park.

We finally made it to the end of our hike. It was a long and fun trip. We saw a lot of stuff on the trip, but I say the most I saw was baby frogs. One almost got squished by one of our instructors. We were able to splash our feet in the lake next to our campsite and we skipped rocks. The most I got was 3 skips. Some students had 10, 7, 6, to 5 skips. Pretty impressive. Today we had a question bag. It had gummy bears.
