  • Yosemite National Park: Hetch Hetchy

My experience in nature was that we live in a world were some people are separated away from what mother nature gave to us and that some people live in a whole new world away from Nature and just live there life and not known an experience of living outdoors is like. These lessons can apply me by contributing with a Nation Park and visiting it more often and probably maybe becoming a member to be a part of a National Park. My experience here at Yosemite National Park, Hetch Hetchy was great because I’ve never really been out doors in my life and this was a great experience.

Stewardship of the wilderness is important because we learn how to appreciate and take care of the wilderness. It’s really important to take care of the wilderness because the wilderness is someone’s home, and if that home is destroyed or, dirty with trash everywhere, then basically were takeing away someones home and making it to something else that it shouldn’t be because the Wilderness is home to a lot of animals, For example Bears, Deers, Birds, lizards, trees, waterfalls and much much more. And that’s not right to destroy someone else’s home like that, covering it with trash, or burning the trees, cutting down trees, and other things. Another thing why stewardship of wilderness is important because I think that mother Nature put wilderness in the world so we can take care of what she gave us and to help around, protect it from Danger.

I think that I can bring this experience home by helping around with recycling. Maybe tell a lot of people to contribute to helping out in the wilderness so when we go visit we can say that Im helping protect this wilderness.
