What does wilderness mean to me?

To me, "wilderness" means being in a forest or the woods. It means you are surrounded by the wild, like animals, plants, and trees. It means that you're in a place that's different from the rest of the world. In the wilderness there are no TVs, radios, or the normal things you would have in your everyday life. In the wilderness there is peace and quiet. There's no loud neighbors to worry about and you have time to yourself. This is what wilderness means to me.

"Today is a new day. You'll get out of it what you put into it. If you have made mistakes, even serious mistakes, you can make a new start whenever you choose. For the thing we call failure is not the falling but the staying down." -Mary Pickford

What the quote is trying to say is that it doesn't matter what kind of mistakes you make or whatever kind of problems you have. Tomorrow is a new day and you can put yourself back on track. There's no such thing as a failure.
