- Kingsburg High School: Kings River Clean Up
- Kings River Golf and Country Club
The mighty Kings River is a cleaner, more beautiful place thanks to Kingsburg High School's WildLink students!
Before the end of the school year, and just before some would be donning their dresses, suits and crowns for prom, WildLink Alumni from Kingsburg High School gathered together one final time to give the Kings River a much needed makeover. They planned and executed a river clean up which resulted in nearly 200 pounds of trash cleared from the river bed and banks! Students, teachers and Nature Bridge coordinators teamed up to carry out boats, tires, wooden boards, glass bottles and much more! This cleanup came just in time for Memorial Weekend, when water was released to flow down the river, providing a place where family and friends can fish, splash around, cool off and celebrate together.
A big thanks to the Kings River Golf and Country Club for letting us use some course space to have a few snacks and a lot of laughs before heading home.
