Today I hiked about 9 miles to Indian Arch. This experience was amazing but sad as well. Not all of us were able to make it to the top due to medical reasons. I wish with all my heart that we all could’ve made it to the top and experienced the opportunity together as a family. The path was full of snow and steep but we pushed past the climb and made it to Indian Arch. The view was breathtaking and as well as inspiring. On the way down we were singing and we were full of joy. Even though it was a tiring hike I had many wonderful experiences.

I believe the story of Yosemite is for all people. Many minorities in small communities don’t believe this place belongs to them. Yosemite and all nature belongs here for itself. We are merely wanderers here only to look but not take. This place provides a lot of natural resources that we need to take care of and protect along with wildlife. I believe that we have to protect this land so that future generations will be able to enjoy it!
