This trip does or should affect anyone that takes it. This trip started as a very grueling trip and there were many times that were very demanding and it is tough because you go up a lot and you gain a lot of elevation, to the point you just want to quit, but then like an oasis in the desert you get a trail that is flat or downhill. The weirdest thing is you get to the pinnacle of depletion and when you’re done, you find that you went up in elevation and traveled 20 miles and you look back and realize that the point where you started is nothing more than a spec on the horizon. It is incredible that you go and then you realize that all you needed was determination and dedication.
