NatureBridge Summer Backpacking Opportunities

Are you excited about the idea of backpacking in Yosemite National Park for two weeks? Meet new people, explore Yosemite's beautiful backcountry, and go on the adventure of a lifetime!

The Armstrong Scholars Program is available to young women, ages 15-18, and focuses on adventure, discovery, and challenge. All students receive a scholarship that covers 90% of the tuition of the program. Applications are due April 1st, and they require both essays and letters of recommendation, so don't delay!

The Field Research Course is available to both young men and women, ages 15-18. Students in this course gain the tools to design and implement their own science project in the park based on their interests. They ask a question, design methods, collect data, analyze findings, and present their conclusion to an audience of the general public and scientists from the National Park Service. NatureBridge has a robust scholarship fund for students to apply to this program.

WildLink is a proud partner of the National Park Service, National Forest Service, and Nature Bridge.
