Hopes and Fears: All I hope to do is have a good time. I would rather be pleasantly surprised than disappointed. I mainly fear not being able to sleep
How has wilderness impacted you? The Wilderness has had a large impact on me in everyday life in many ways. For instance, the water we all drink, it doesn’t just appear out of thin air. It comes from natural streams and rivers. Also, the houses we live in are made of wood that we get from tress in wilderness
I wonder: Why does the ground echo when you hit it? Why don’t they carry away trees when they fall/get cut down? Why do river rocks explode when put around a fire? How can tall trees support their weight? My experience doing WildLink will stay with me in everyday life. I will appreciate things more, like running water, and a comfy bed. Heck, even a roof over my head
