WILDERNESS 9/16
Being in a place with a lot of people, buildings, and technology can sometimes distract from the beauty of nature. Coming out to Yosemite and hiking out here was an eye-opener for me. I have pushed myself, challenged myself and explored many places. The view from 10,000 ft is unexplainable. It is hard not to fall in love with nature. Nature is such a beautiful thing. When I am out here all my focus is on nature. Just think about, imagine being in a place where it's quiet, peaceful, and where you can see everything. That is quite an amazing view. Coming out here and hiking was something new to me. Lucky for me I had a great group of friends who are always there for me and push me to better myself. This is for sure an experience I will not forget.

CLIMAX 9/17
Today we woke up to a song that our teacher decided to sing to us. As I got up I realized it was very cold and that there was ice on the tent and sleeping bag. The first thing that I did was get up and go use the restroom. The day was very nice in the morning, a bit chilly, but it had a clear sky. Once everyone was awake we received instructions for our hike to Cloud's Rest. We ate breakfast and got our things ready for our hike. Since everyone was ready we decided to start our hike. This hike took us about 5 hours, but it was worth it. The time also seemed to fly by for me. Once we made it to the top we decided to eat lunch and we had a great time. Sadly it came a time to say goodbye to Cloud's Rest and we had to head back to camp. The trip back to camp was fun and fast. I can say that Today was a pretty great day.

SPIRIT WALK 9/17
This walk was very much needed. It gave me an opportunity to be alone and to reflect about this whole trip. This was a very peaceful and nice walk. It also gave me a lot of time to think. I think that it is important to take these walks because it lets you be alone, relax, and just allows you to be yourself. on this walk I saw many trees, rocks, water, and a few hikers. Overall this walk itself was pretty relaxing and nice.
