Entry 1: My Ideal Hike
It would be a challenging hike that would push me to/past my limits so that I can get a sense of accomplishment, then strive for more challenging hikes or anything more challenging.
Entry 2
Today part of my ideal hike came true. It definitely was challenging. I'm super stoked about tomorrow when we have the real challenge hike. Yesterday was a really easy hike which was good. I viewed it as a warmup and the hike back will be a cool down. We heard thunder/lightning so we didn't quite make it to the ridge we were aiming for. However the view was stunning. I'm sitting secluded from the other group members to journal which is nice. I have a good view of the meadow. It's quiet except for the natural sounds and the occasional airplanes which seem really close and is a nice getaway from society (cities). The weather is good, not too hot or cold, it's comfortable.
