I think what inspired me to go on this wilderness expedition is that I know if I didn’t, I’d probably regret it and recently I’ve been trying really hard to make choices I don’t regret. Also, not many people are given this opportunity, so for me to dismiss it because it might be too much work is absolutely ludicrous. Lastly, I love the outdoors and don’t get many opportunities to go backpoacking in Yosemite or anywhere not extremely close to my house. Ultimately, I’d pay anything for a pretty view.
I ride horses and go hunting pretty frequently, however that isn’t the only role I want to play in the wilderness. My goal is not to become a hippie (hopefully), but just have a more active role in my environment.
I feel like I could go to whatever lengths for a good view, as if the view was always worth the hike.
