I’ve never really thought about or liked the idea of nature. I remember Russell always inviting me to hiking trips but I’ll always tell him “I’ll see if I could” because knowing Russell, he’s a person that can convince you to try new things you’re not interested in or want to do. I’d rather not have that conversation with him. So I try avoiding it. But if I would have known how great it could be here I would have gone on the first Yosemite trip with my sister. But finally last semester I decided to try out the hiking trip. I went on a 9-10 mile hike with Russell and other people, and ever since then I started to get interested in the nature. Now I felt like I missed many opportunities but this Yosemite trip I knew I couldn’t miss. One reason was because I’m a senior and chances were this was the only time I would pay $25 to come visit Yosemite. The second reason why is because nature has become something I’m interested in being in and seeing!
