This experience nourished me by giving me more endurance. This hike up here was rough, but I think with the help of our teammates we pushed through the pain. It mentally nourished us by making us push through what we thought was not possible. Spiritually, I feel like I connected more with nature today than I ever had before Emotionally, it made me realize if I want something I can push through it.
This trip can nourish us by connecting us with nature, our teammates, ourselves, and our physical capability. I feel like I nourish others by trying my best to stay positive and also keep up with the group.
Nature paint!
Mountains so high,
Rivers so wide,
Peace and quiet,
A place to hide.
No sounds, no noises,
Just wind blown,
I feel like this place,
Could be my home.
The journey was hard but,
The bond was great,
We made it through,
Even though we were a little late.
The laughs we’ve shared,
On this mountain so high,
Will never be forgotten,
Through this crazy battle cry.
Nature Nap: Pure relaxation.
I want to be an ambassador for nature. I want to help better the wilderness and make it so more people come out to see this beautiful place. My audience is pretty much anyone who is interested in learning more about nature and how important it is to us. The resources I would use would be WildLink and using people who have been on hiking trips to give their opinions to people who haven’t and try and persuade them to hike up and try this experience for themselves so they can see how beautiful nature is for themselves.
