I chose to come to the wilderness in order to find tranquility. the surrounding mountains and beautiful trees and waterfalls help keep calm and peaceful. I also came to challenge myself and prepare for longer expeditions or hikes. I also enjoy the natural beauty and non-synthetic feel. Technology tends to ruin all of the peace and tranquility at home and I receive it in Yosemite, my second home.
My first thought [on the Cloud's Rest summit] would have to be accomplishment. We made it all the way despite the fact that we had troubles. The valley is beautiful and I had to be amazed by Half Dome.
