What can wilderness teach us?
Wilderness can teach us many different things. For example, it can teach us about the different wildlife and plants that there are in it. Wildlife can also teach us how to be peaceful and relax. It teaches us that it is important in our environment and that we need to take care of it so that it is safe. Wilderness teaches us that in our modern day society we need to get away from the technology and enjoy nature and its beauty. What did Yosemite tell you today?
Today we hiked up to the waterfall and I heard Yosemite telling me various things. One of those things was to not give up and keep on going because that is what I came for and to see the beautiful view. The other thing that Yosemite told me was that being away from people and the internet is a good thing to do because you get to have silence and listen to the most relaxing noises. Similarly, Yosemite told me and showed me that nature is beautiful as well as important. Finally, Yosemite told me I had accomplished something new and experienced something like never before. Yes, it was different but it is worth it.
