Wilderness is where you see and do many fascinating and incredible things that you don't see and do in a normal everyday life. The value of wilderness [is that] it teaches me how important and valuable life really is. You learn how our past ancestors had survived with nothing but wilderness. It also teaches me how to appreciate the company of a stranger, friend, who is there willing to help. They scratch my back and I scratch theirs. TRUST. This experience is very meaningful to me. I mean being able to meet new people, do wild things, see snow, and especially learning how to trust a while group of people (as well as opening up to them). There will be lots of stories to tell when I go back…lots of them…I didn't miss the city life. Nature truly is magnificent.
