I have learned that climbing a mountain is hard, rough, and challenging. But it was an amazing experience. I want to do this again. The reason it was hard is because going uphill is very hard if you are carrying a backpack that weighs around 30 pounds. But, it was all worth it. It was rough because going with the 30 pound backpack and trying to go over rocks and fallen trees was rough. The most challenging part was climbing Cloud’s Rest. It was tiring, my back and shoulders were hurting, and I was hungry the whole time. I was scared going up the mountain when were there. I was frightened. I crawled up instead of walking and Mike carried my backpack up the mountain. When I got up the mountain I looked around for like 10 seconds. Then I just sat down. But it was a nice, peaceful view. But at the end it was all worth it. The wilderness is the nicest place I’ve ever been to. The plants are nice, trees, animals, and everything else.
