Youth in Yosemite Short Film Contest Opens!

Yosemite National Park in partnership with The Ansel Adams Gallery presents the Youth In Yosemite Short Film Contest

Submissions to the Youth In Yosemite Short Film Contest are open to all youth 25 years of age or under. Please see contest guidelines for eligibility and submission requirements. Selected films will be shown at the youth film awards ceremony, scheduled to be held in Yosemite Valley. Filmmakers of selected films will be acknowledged at a special awards ceremony on Saturday, March 1, 2014.

Teachers, parents, and youth leaders are encouraged to organize submissions of films for their students and youth participants.

Films must be original content and should demonstrate a connection to Yosemite. Categories for video topics include "Celebrating Nature" and "What Yosemite Means to Me."

Entries must be received by 5:00PM on Friday, January 10, 2014.
