I am hopeful for good times on the mountain with my peers. So far, we have shared many laughs and stories. I hope to stay connected to the nature on my journey, Tlatzocamate.
I am anxious to embark. Early in the morning is my favorite time to walk on the earth’s trails.
I will bring ceremony to my group. I will speak the words many of these children’s grandparents spoke. the language is slowly being lost, and it needs to be practiced once again.
Today we will be building shelters. It is something I am really looking forward to. We will be making a group shelter of 3: me, Nick, and Juan. I am very grateful to be in Ahwahneechee land. Ela’kwa.
