What drew me to wilderness is how beautiful the place is and how peaceful it is from the city. I like it up here because you get away from your busy lifestyle and enjoy the beauty that is Yosemite.
I think not a lot of people come here because they feel Yosemite is far from their home or that they have to be a hiker to come to Yosemite.
We are on the highest spot of the trip called Cloud’s Rest. I feel scared because of the height; it makes me scared of falling. But, happy because there are beautiful views of Yosemite and I’m also looking at Half Dome. Also, happy that I didn’t give up when the hike got really hard. I think the happiness that I’m here beat me being scared of heights.
