Day 1: backpacking trail to 1st campsite

Wilderness to me is a place that takes you out of your element. Something that creates a new type of comfort zone that you may of not known about. Uncharted places to you, a lot of people might think of it as a harsh environment, but I define Wilderness as a place away from all the noise and business, and just simple. A place that makes the world seem a little quieter.

When I think of wilderness I mainly think of untamed animals and a harder way of living. What doesn’t initially come to mind is the overwhelming feeling, from head to toe, of humbleness. You start to feel small and less important. But I mean that in the best way possible. Like maybe the problems we go through aren’t really bad at all. Maybe all everyone needs is a deep breath and to feel little again. I think this will help me reach my goals by making everything seem not as big or far away.
