I believe that I can take wilderness with me by spreading around my new knowledge of it and sharing memories. Although I have great memories of it, that doesn’t mean I want it to go away; I would love for other people to gain knowledge and memories from it too. Why should I be part of the last generation to see it?
To me wilderness means a lot. In the wild all the unnecessary things we use back at home doesn’t matter. In a way I feel cleansed from it all. It seems as if every second I’m here counts where as, at home, nothing matters. Here I can be me, and I like that.
