It’s the second day at camp, Its not bad, its starting out great and im really liking it. Tomorrow we leave for the backpacking part of this trip. My biggest fear for this trip is the bugs. My hopes are to help me view nature in a different way and to appreciate its beauty. My goals are to make it through this week even though I know I can and to see beautiful animals and views. Im kinda homesick but I also feel at home here.

I am part of the story of Yosemite by being able to experience the beatuty and nature of this amazing place. We have visited many places on this trip so far and everyone is unique and filled with beauty. We also helped repair, reduce, eliminate fire rings. We did this to preserve the nature which would be devastating to lose. We climbed up and to see nature from a beautiful view was the best. My story of Yosemite started the day I arrived at Crane Flat. I was nervous but excited to what was to come. Meanwhile we were at Crane Flat we played games and I got to know my group way better. We call our group team consensous. We went on our first hike and went to a beautiful meadow. Our first day of backpacking wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Hiking to our campsite was a bit tiring but I didn’t pay too much attention to that because I was distracted by the beautiful nature. We did many things that I for sure will remember for the rest of my life. I’ve learned how to set up tents, cook, clean my water, and many more. Our biggest adventure would have to be when we hiked up Tuolumne Peak. The hike up was a bit difficult but when I got to the top and saw the extraordinarily beautiful view that sat before my eyes, I knew that the hike up was worth every bit. The 360 view was amazing. I am glad that I had the opportunity to experience everything that I went through these days. It is a memory that will live with me forever and I will never forget.
