So it’s my last day here in the back country and I have this great feeling of accomplishment leaping on the inside of me. And I think the reason is because I have accomplished so much in such little time. But the one I am most proud of is the hike to Cloud’s Rest because, believe it or not, it was a long and tiring trip. But just like life I got through it. And that is exactly what this hike was, life. Because you know life gets hard sometimes and one minute you are and the next down. One minute you are happy, the next you are sad. But that is not what our focus should be on. It should be on where we are going and the blessed sight we are about to see. And I know sometimes we get tired and we want to stop but like I told the rest of the people hiking with me, the feeling of stoping and geting tired comes from the devil and what he is tring to do is block you from your blessing or discourage you from geting you to where you are going. And I told them that when you start to feel that way you have to stand strong and pick your hread up, dust your self off, stick your chest out and tell the devil “devil you are a lier. You are not going to discourage me today so I am going to keep moving and keep walking. Because I got a place to be and a blessing to receive.” When you speech that, you start feeling motavated to tackle any kind of demand that stands in your way. So basicly my words to you are, life is a hike and it isn’t always gonna be easy but inspite of it all you have to keep moving forward. And the Bible says that, “the race is not given to the swift nor the strong, but to the one that endures to the end,” And one thing I can asure you is that onece you reach the top and look back at where you started out, you may not be at the place you want to be, but you sure feel satisfied knowing your not where you use to be.
