  • University of California, Merced

WildLink alumni from Turlock, Pitman, Le Grand, and Golden Valley High Schools in Turlock and Merced County attended a tour of the UC Merced campus. They were led around the university by students from the Yosemite Leadership Program. The goal of the tour was to inspire students to pursue higher education and learn about professional opportunities in public lands. At the conclusion of the tour, students were treated to a talk by Yosemite National Park Ranger Shelton Johnson, who spoke eloquently about the importance of making good choices.
