Wilderness is an awesome place where you can relax and enjoy the views. It is a place where animals roam freely. It is something that should be appreciated and is unpredictable. Wilderness is important to me because there isn’t ots of wildland in the world anymore. There are only a few spots that will remain wild forever like Yosemite. I learned that mother nature can do many amazing things. For example, all the beautiful views we had when we hiked up high or the waterfall with a really strong current.

“Keep your eyes on the prize”: For example when we were hiking to the shoulder of Half Dome, the prize was the beautiful view. “The adventure is the hike, not the destination”: For example when we were hiking to Little Yosemite Valley, the adventure was the waterfalls and the unforgettable views along the way.
