When I leave Yosemite, I am never truly leaving. I have absorbed this land into my very inner being. This place nurtured me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. That's why I call her Mother Earth. When I leave this place I am never truly leaving. I have left no human trace upon this land, but just as I carry a part of this earth with me, the earth here has obtained a part of me as well. Everything I touched, the soil, the wind, the water and the trees carry a part of me with them and we are now internally connected for an eternity...
