Wilderness to me means a place where one can go to relax and forget for a while everything that they think that they need. To forget about everyone else and just try to connect with themselves on a deeper level. My wild place would have to be my bedroom. It's a place where I can just be me, think about everything that comes to my head and just be myself. That is something that takes me a while to show when I'm around people, even if they are my best friends. It is simply a place where I can feel ok about everything that I do or have done because it is what occurred to me naturally. This place is special because it let me achieve many things that I thought were impossible for me to do. I would of never imagined myself hiking so many miles to get to one place. It helped me realize how much I love being outside and just forgetting about school, life and some problems. Also, I met new people, some of whom I knew, but I had never hung out with them or talked to them as much. It is a really special place.

Sequoia is so much more peaceful, and I enjoy my time much more that I do in my actual home. I thought I was going to miss many of my things, There are some things that I miss but not as many as I thought I would. I had many epiphanies this week; I realized that I was kind of a bug nerd. I was probably never as excited about bugs until yesterday. Another moment would be when we would have a moment to just look back and see what we had accomplished. It was an awesome feeling. Seeing all of those animals was just awesome as well. I had seen some of them but they were in a cage, and seeing them free was AMAZING.
