WildLink is happy to announce that Gabriela is the second recipient of the annual Deborah Strachan Memorial scholarship, awarded annually to a young woman who shows particular leadership in her community. We would like to thank the Strachan family for making this expedition possible for Gabriela.

I see...a long history made by the natures, I don't know how many years ago; green pine trees and flat areas, full of life; great mountains and cliffs covered with plants make this natural view; water reflects the mystery by the waterfalls full of energy coming down from the mountains, lakes laying on the ground without moving but just with the help of the wind, moving to one side or the other.
I hear...the delighted wind telling me that now and on nothing is impossible, that I can do what I set to be my goals. That wants me to be proud because I am reaching my goal, to be on top of the mountain and fill with joy my soul.
I smell...the fresh air that makes me think this is pure nature, not only seeing it, but to smell the effort and the motivation to do it, that's something born from the deepest of my heart, that nobody can imagine how much.
I taste...the juice squeezed from the fruit of life, tastes sweet and delicate. I had never tasted something like this, but the better thing is that I love it.
I feel...proud to make this effort. I feel tired at the same time, but who would tell me that if I do this effort, I would never be surprised? I feel I am dreaming.
I dream...this never is going to end.
