What wilderness means to me is being away from civilization and technology. Being in a place where you only see a few people is a great example. To me, wilderness feels like a place to get away from it all. It sure is a great feeling.

I learned that in a community everyone has to help and participate for it to work. For example, the first few days I would stay up front and not care about people in the back, until I realized I wanted more of a challenge, so I went to the back. By doing this, I learned about how much better I could make people feel, and it made me feel better.
