"I think wilderness is very valuable. Besides being beautiful, it is home to many organisms, and we need to take care of the wild and not destroy it. I learned that we need to protect wilderness from ourselves rather than protect ourselves from wilderness."

"One of the things I learned is that being out in the wild is not as scary as I thought. Everything is different out here and you learn to see things from a different perspective. You learn to see nature differently. Nature is beautiful. It make you realize that life is not so complicated, we just make it that way."

"What I learned from nature is that you can't take anything for granted and you should take care of what you have. I also learned that we live in a materialistic world and we are so preoccupied with other things that we forget to just take a look at what we have and appreciate its beauty. When I go home I'm going to try to live more simply and appreciate what I have."
