What is your expectation of wilderness?

My expectation of wilderness is for the wilderness to be a place where you can enjoy being in the wild and enjoy the wildlife as well. I also expect this experience in the wilderness to be a very exciting one.

What was the reality of wilderness?

My experience in the wilderness was really nothing compared to what I thought I was going to do. It was the exact opposite of what I thought. The river was really amazing because when the rain stopped, it got so full and looked a lot bigger. Hiking was harder than I thought it was going to be. This is because it was hard to have to go up those mountains with a big pack on your back. The weather also played a big part in this experience. The fact that it rained most of the time we were hiking made if difficult for me. My sleeping bag was all wet too and that sucked! But, I got over it and just kept on going. The wilderness can be enjoyed in so many ways but we have tot take care of it if we want to enjoy it. In the wilderness, you can see how people lived back in the day by looking at the things that they left behind.
