What are your HOPES and FEARS for this wilderness journey?

Hopes. Some of the things I an hoping to see or do. I am hoping to see is all the different animals like bears and deer and even see what different kinds of fishes they have in that cold water. One more thing I would like to see is a deer or a bears foot tracks. I would also hope that we can get really close to the waterfalls. One last thing is the hike because this is my first time, so I can't wait to see all the beautiful sights.

Fears. Well to tell you the truth I'm not scared to go on the hike. But I'm scared I might lose the group because knowing me I don't pay attention the much , so yeah I ‘m scared to lose the group . I fear that I might act to stupid and it might cost me my life or I might fall in to the river.

What are some of the DIFFERENCES and SIMILARITIES between wilderness and your home?

zac thinking

There is a time in life when some people need to get out of the city and go away for a while, to find themselves. And I think that one of the different thing you can do in the wilderness, is to get away from music, car, TV, and bad air. One of the different things out here is the people we are here with because I know them we knew them then. So that one the different thing out there is. Another thing is that is quiet out here, you can hear the rivers, you can hear the birds sing and that's pretty cool. Another thing is the animals. Out here there are a lot more dangers than the city. So that is some of the things that are different from the city to the outbacks. Some of the similarities of the city and the outback is that there are cars still, road but out here some of the road are dirty. One of the last things is they have stores where you can eat, they have gas stations. But that mostly where there more camp grounds so that is some of the similarities.

The End

Letter to Myself

zac journalling

Dear myself, The first day of hiking was cool since it was your first time hiking so it was pretty cool, we walk on snow, we seen different kinds of animals. Dear self I think that in my first journal Hopes & Fear, I think I got to see some of my hopes. And one of my fears was not to act to stupid and I think I got past that. The second day of hiking sucked so much it put me to sleep early. The third day was awesome we went to Yosemite Point and stayed there for awhile, we even ate lunch over by there. We seen Yosemite Falls. Now that was kool. The fourth day is tomorrow I can't wait I hope we're back in time to eat a good meal before we leave tomorrow to go home. Yeah you could say that that trip was fun, we go to meet people we never even seen before and they were cool . I won nine dollars from those people. Well I think out of it all my favorite day was the fourth say because we got to hike early in the morning way before the sun was out, and the other thing was that I know we would be back on that day. Well that's the end of my letter. Bye =) Bye =)
