What are your HOPES and FEARS for this wilderness journey?

Hopes and Fears One of my fears is being alone in a type of place like this, which is the wilderness. Like I know that I have a couple of my friends up here and I don't want to be alone. Another great fear of mine is when I'm hiking in the backcountry is that I don't want to slip on a rock and break one of my ankles, because that will be messing up this trip. And I was waiting a long time. Okay this was my fears. And my hopes are that the whole lot of us will work together to work as a team. Also I hope that we get to hike El Capitan. But I was told no this is all I have to write 6-2-03

What are some of the DIFFERENCES and SIMILARITIES between wilderness and your home?

The things that are similar between the wilderness and my home is that I wake up in the morning like around 3 to 5:30, because I'm used to getting up in the morning at those hours. I don't think there is more similarities to where I'm from, so that I can compare to the wilderness. There are a lot of differences between my home and the wilderness. One thing for a fact there isn't any pure fresh air where I come from. Another different thing is that there isn't any bears or deer. Or waterfalls, mountains, and a lot of trees around there. Another different thing is that there isn't any ice patches down there. Well this is all I have to write about this topic for today. 6-3-03 6:16pm
