Excitement and Expectation

Well, well, well. The first thing I can say is that I'm finally out of the car. My butt is realy achin'. The scenery is so overwhelming. Everywhere you turn you see a huge mountain or cliff overtaking you. The sound of the city is completely gone. You are surrounded by an eternity of wind that is surrounding you. I don't even think a stalker can find me here, right Christy? The atmosphere is so quiet and peaceful that maybe Mark and Travis wouldn't fight for a week. The wilderness has a touch of human attitude here. It seems that everyone is down to earth. No Drama, right Lindsay? I guess we're both sides of that. Most of the people in my group are from Northern California. Leaving me and Mario [and Dominique as] the only Southern Californians. I think the people in my group haven't seen a personality like mine, either. I wish I could bring some of my friends here for the weekend or something.

New Experiences and a Changed Perspective

Shut up. Leave me alone. I want to go to sleep. Nikki, I'm going to kill you. (Just kidding). You've been annoying, Nikki. They drag me out of my tent and toss me in the middle of the trail. I'm gonna get them.

One new thing I have learned is to appreciate what we have.
