I see, hear, feel, know...

I SEE crystal clear lake water reflecting into my eyes. I see a huge mountain of rock with delicate pine trees growing into it. I see fallen trees in the water. I see grass growing on the lakeside. I see an infinite number of evergreen trees. I see enormous white clouds in the sky, just below the ongoing blue. I see millions of years of natural, unaltered life. I see my legs which are dirtied from the hike.

I HEAR a waterfall in the distance. I hear a dragonfly flying around my head. I hear birds chirping near and far. I hear people talking from a nearby camp.

I FEEL the wind gusting over my body. I feel the log under me and the clear water that my feet are in. I feel the sun beating on my neck. I feel secluded in my own little world. I feel happiness.

I KNOW that some may call this paradise. I know this because I know I do.

An invitation...

I DON'T THINK THAT my friend Jason would ever come to the wilderness like I have for the past few days.

JASON I would like to invite you to have the experience of a lifetime. I've been hiking in the Chain Lakes area in Yosemite National Park for 2 days now. I am sitting in a waterfall. The water is so clear, you don't even know it's there. I have been having the most fun. Some things we have been doing are: learning how to cook in the wild, learning how to eat in the wild, learning how to go to the bathroom [in the wild' and how to keep food away from bears. I hope you consider coming to Yosemite, it is one of the best places on earth.
